The Caporali company is a small, family-owned Italian business, founded in 1885 by Lorenzo Caporali in his modest blacksmith shop. Since the company’s origin, Caporali has focused on perfecting the historic and undeniably poetic Tuscan craftsmanship traditions of the early masters in the 1700s.
Although Caporali started from humble beginnings, Lorenzo and his descendents’ work steadily gained international prominence and prestigious accolades. In the company’s early years, Caporali became widely known for constructing elaborate and privately commissioned pieces for distinguished churches, convents, hotels and manors throughout Italy.
Today, the company continues to create handcrafted interior and exterior furniture, complete state-of-the-art restoration of antique beds and irons and commission elegant pieces for several hotels, businesses and homes worldwide.
